This role involves assembling, installing, testing, inspecting, and reworking electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products. The Assembler I will follow work instructions, test procedures, and quality documentation to accurately complete production tasks, while meeting production schedules, build rates, and cycle time requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory needs, communicating material shortages, and using computers and manufacturing systems for documentation and transactions. The position also requires participation in achieving team performance goals and KPIs, maintaining accurate production, quality, and compliance records, and performing 6S activities to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Support for continuous improvement, safety initiatives, preventative maintenance programs, and operational excellence efforts is expected. Additionally, the role involves packaging products and preparing shipments according to specifications, taking ownership of work preparation, equipment setup, cleanup, and product quality, and collaborating with team members to foster a positive workplace culture. Other duties as assigned may also be part of the role.
