About The Position

This role involves assembling, installing, testing, inspecting, and reworking electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products. The Assembler I will follow work instructions, test procedures, and quality documentation to accurately complete production tasks, meeting production schedules, build rates, and cycle time requirements. The position requires monitoring inventory needs, communicating material shortages, and using computers and manufacturing systems for documentation and transactions. Team collaboration, participation in achieving performance goals and KPIs, and maintaining accurate records are essential. The role also includes performing 6S activities, supporting continuous improvement, safety initiatives, and operational excellence. Packaging products and preparing shipments according to specifications are also key responsibilities, along with taking ownership of work preparation, equipment setup, cleanup, and product quality. Collaboration with team members to foster a positive and respectful workplace culture is expected, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and move throughout the workday.
Ability to work with small parts and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
Strong attention to detail and visual acuity for inspecting products and identifying quality issues.
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, testing equipment, measuring devices, and other manufacturing equipment.
Ability to wear required PPE and comply with all safety requirements.
Ability to hear and respond to safety alarms, announcements, and instructions.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities
