About The Position
Pure Fishing is hiring an Assembler I for its Mendota team. The role supports the manufacturing production process by helping operations run smoothly and efficiently and contributing to the production of the company’s products. The position works indoors in a temperature-controlled environment, though conditions may sometimes include heat, humidity, or cold. The facility operates 24/7, and occasional loud noise requires alertness around machinery. Personal protective equipment is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Strong attendance, safety, and performance record.
- Basic math skills; these may be tested if needed.
- Strong motor skills and physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.
- Safety awareness and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to quality and aiming for zero defects.
- Teamwork and strong communication skills.
- Organization, attention to detail, and willingness to respect others, accept feedback, and share ideas.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when needed.
Responsibilities
- Package finished goods and check them for quality.
- Palletize products.
- Maintain quality control standards.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, twisting, and reaching, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Follow the safety warm-up program.
- Meet daily production goals.
- Maintain neat, clean, and organized work areas.
