About The Position
Pure Fishing is hiring an Assembler I for its Mendota team. The role supports the manufacturing production process by packaging and palletizing finished products, checking product quality, and helping operations run smoothly and efficiently. The position works indoors in a temperature-controlled environment, though employees may sometimes encounter heat, humidity, or cold and occasional loud noise. Personal protective equipment is required. The scheduled shift is 5:00 PM–3:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays. The operation runs 24/7, and employees may need to work extended hours or weekends when needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Basic math skills; these may be tested.
- A strong attendance, safety, and performance record.
- Safety-conscious approach and positive attitude.
- Ability to pursue zero-defect quality standards.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when needed.
- Teamwork and strong communication skills.
- Organization and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and strong motor skills.
- Respect for others, openness to feedback, and willingness to share ideas.
Responsibilities
- Package finished goods and check them for quality.
- Palletize products.
- Maintain quality control standards.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting, twisting, and reaching, with lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Follow the safety warm-up program.
- Meet daily production goals and maintain a neat, organized work area.
