About The Position

Assembler I fabricates component parts or assembles finished products according to customer specifications. The role secures and maintains the correct component parts and supplies needed for operations. It also involves setting up the work area, following prescribed assembly instructions and quality standards, and maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
No minimum experience is required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Six months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
Working knowledge of basic math preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete work area setup.
Fit parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
Operate hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
Stack completed products in accordance with established procedures and, if required, cover, label, and band components or finished products.
Ensure the work area is safe, clean, and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.
Complete pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklists and report problems or concerns.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Maintain production records as required.
Check materials and finished products to ensure they comply with standards.
Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and other programs and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
