The Assembler I position proficiently produces quality assemblies in one (1) of the following work centers including gear case, spinners, chain shields, and/or final subassembly. Key Responsibilities RESULTS | 50% Critical Verifies assembly by visual inspection and utilization of measurements specified on prints and procedures. Completes work assignments within standard guidelines of time and quality. Performs quality checks on work completed. Productivity / Job Knowledge Assembles some mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components. Accurately reads prints and assembles parts accordingly. Assists with training of others as needed. Keeps work area clean and orderly, performs required PM’s on machines and equipment and reports all non-conformities to Line Lead, Supervisor or Maintenance until the problem has been rectified. Dependability Demonstrates a good attendance record; is aware of the impact that missing work will have on the customer as well as co-workers. Completes goals/projects on time or ahead of schedule.
