About The Position
L3Harris is seeking an Assembler C. The Assembler works with moderate supervision, following formal written procedures and detailed verbal instructions. The role performs tasks required to produce various components and assemble these parts to a point where they are ready for the next operational level.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years of post-secondary education/an Associate's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Respirator qualified.

- Previous manufacturing experience desired.
Responsibilities
- Perform surface preparation, apply protective coating, insulate casings, and operate pressure chambers.
- Carry out other preparatory tasks as needed in the manufacturing process.
- Manage production documentation and environmental responsibilities, including collection, containment, and labeling of waste byproducts produced during manufacturing.
- Work other shifts and overtime as needed to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain satellite accumulation areas in a safe, orderly manner and in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Ensure the Hazardous Waste Control Technician is contacted to move non-energetic chemical wastes to the chemical waste handling area (CWHA), and energetic wastes to energetic waste accumulation areas or thermal treatment units.
- Immediately report chemical and/or process-water spills to the Environmental department.
- Implement facility Emergency Procedures/Contingency Plan in the event of an emergency incident.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production demands.
- Maintain a high consciousness for personnel and equipment safety.
