About The Position

The Assembler-Bundler receives clean textiles and garments from finishing equipment, inspects them for quality, and prepares them for delivery or the next stage of production. The role supports production flow and helps the team meet quality standards. The position reports to the Production Manager. Work takes place in production areas of an industrial laundry facility, where conditions may include temperature variations, humidity, odors, lint, and dust. The work involves standing and walking, frequent hand use for grasping, stacking, and bundling, and frequent reaching, bending, and twisting. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 25 pounds and work safely around moving machinery and conveyors.

Responsibilities

Receive finished textiles and garments from ironing, folding, or other finishing equipment and inspect them for stains, tears, improper finishing, and other quality issues.
Sort items by customer, route, product type, size, or color and prepare them for the next stage of processing or delivery.
Stack and bundle items according to company standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper handling to prevent damage.
Maintain production pace to meet established productivity standards and support overall plant operations.
Follow safety, quality, and production procedures while keeping the work area clean and organized.
