About The Position

Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader focused on helping the world’s manufacturers be more productive, sustainable, and agile. This role involves performing repetitive assembly of pre-engineered electro-mechanical equipment control modules. Working from hard copy and electronic assembly documentation and instructions, you will follow established sequencing of hardware and wiring installations using predefined tools and fixtures. You will also provide manufacturing order support including engraving, labels, and reports, handle heavy gauge electrical wiring and plumbing routing and assembly in repetitive product manufacturing. You will evaluate unique assembly and disassembly requirements and prepare an approach based on safe work practices, cleans modules, restores painted surfaces, and performs general preparation before product shipment. This is a 1st Shift role (Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED or 2 years related experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to perform, reading of electrical schematics, standard component placements, assembly from workmanship standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive assembly of pre-engineered electro-mechanical equipment control modules.
  • Follow established sequencing of hardware and wiring installations using predefined tools and fixtures.
  • Provide manufacturing order support including engraving, labels, and reports.
  • Handle heavy gauge electrical wiring and plumbing routing and assembly in repetitive product manufacturing.
  • Evaluate unique assembly and disassembly requirements and prepare an approach based on safe work practices.
  • Clean modules, restore painted surfaces, and perform general preparation before product shipment.
  • Read, follow, and execute tasks per sequence defined by electronic or hardcopy drawings and work instructions.
  • Follow standardized methods of work to accomplish an established set of assembly tasks.
  • Assemble components and sub-assemblies in an assembly line fashion per specific defined process and in defined time frame.
  • Work from established product bill of materials, wiring schematics, and layout drawings of products manufactured and previously manufactured products from a variety of Manufacturing Operations facilities.
