About The Position

Assembler 2 performs a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations on assemblies and sub-assemblies, including set-ups and adjustments to meet tolerances specified in written instructions and established drawings. The role may also involve testing equipment and products. The position reports to the Supervisor of Manufacturing and Operations.

Requirements

• Good organizational and communication skills.
• 0–3 years of assembly experience.
• Ability to work from written instructions and established drawings.
• Ability to work with a variety of hand tools.
• Ability to work with a minimal amount of supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Oracle.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
• Highly motivated and able to function in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations.
• Set up and adjust assemblies while holding tolerances to written instructions and established drawings.
• Leak test assemblies.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for appearance and cleanliness.
• Perform a variety of other repetitive tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• May test equipment and products.
