About The Position

As an Assembler 2, you will perform a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations on assemblies and sub-assemblies. You will set up and adjust work while maintaining tolerances according to written instructions and established drawings. The role may also involve testing equipment and products, including leak testing assemblies. You will report to the Supervisor of Manufacturing and Operations.

The position involves inspecting parts and assemblies for appearance and cleanliness, completing repetitive tasks, and carrying out other duties assigned by the supervisor. Work requires following written instructions and drawings, using a variety of hand tools, and functioning with minimal supervision in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Good organizational and communication skills.
• 0–3 years of assembly experience.
• Ability to work from written instructions and established drawings.
• Ability to work with a variety of hand tools.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods.
• Occasionally move or position objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to remain stationary for 30% of the time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas so others understand and to exchange accurate information.
• Ability to observe documents and details at close range.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Oracle.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
