About The Position

The Assembler 1 – Line 1 assembles generator sets and sub-assemblies for standard and non-standard product lines. The role uses hand and power tools and follows established quality and procedural techniques to ensure accurate, reliable assembly. The assembler reads mechanical instructions, drawings, and schematics to perform assembly duties on Line 1 HPR Units, cross-trains in multiple assembly areas, and supports other teams as needed. The position is based in Mankato, Minnesota, and is full-time. Relocation assistance is not available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident and authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.

Nice To Haves

• Experience inspecting parts and assemblies for defects and quality issues.
• Mechanical knowledge and experience using hand tools and equipment.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Basic ability to perform repetitive manufacturing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret mechanical instructions, drawings, and schematics to assemble Line 1 HPR Units.
• Cross-train in multiple assembly areas and assist other teams as needed.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for defects, incorrect sizes, and quality issues.
• Follow safety, environmental, and company procedures during assembly operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assembly processes and products.
