About The Position
The Assembler 1 is responsible for cleaning and maintaining common areas on the production floor and in transition rooms. Duties include cleaning floors, surfaces, equipment, doors, windows, and trash areas using approved procedures and cleaning solutions. The role also involves maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment, participating in requested projects, and contributing positively by seeking assistance from coworkers when needed. This is a second-shift role, Monday through Friday, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in a positive way.
- Available to work overtime as required.
- Good attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Three months of experience in cleaning activities is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Use a dust mop to clean production floors.
- Mop production floors with approved chemicals according to procedure.
- Buff production floors as needed according to schedule.
- Clean doors, windows, fire extinguishers, desk areas, chairs, and copy machines on the production floor.
- Empty common trash cans from assembly and packaging areas as needed.
- Clean main and packaging transition rooms daily with approved cleaning solutions, including doors, windows, hanger poles, and trash cans.
- Empty transition-room trash cans as needed and replace plastic bags.
- Replace sticky mats as needed.
- Clean and organize the mop closet as needed.
- Wash mops and mop buckets at the end of every shift.
- Change dust mops and mop heads according to procedure.
- Participate in saving projects or assignments as requested by the manager.
- Make a positive contribution by seeking assistance from coworkers as needed.
