About The Position

The Asphalt Operator will be responsible for operating a paver with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency. This role involves performing daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation, and performing equipment servicing and maintenance as trained and directed. The position requires effective communication skills, adherence to all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/Environmental regulations for safe working procedures, and the ability to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate loud noises. The role also requires a willingness to work in a team environment, assist co-workers, and be available for overtime and extended hours when necessary. A pre-employment drug screen, valid I-9 documentation, a clean Motor Vehicle Record, and a Valid Driver's License are required.

Requirements

• Dedication to safe work practices.
• Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in an asphalt paving operation.
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours when necessary.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Valid Drivers License required

Nice To Haves

• Experience working road construction in high traffic areas preferred.
