Requirements

• Possess simple oral skills and be safety oriented.
• Be able to use various handheld tools.
• Be able to respond quickly to safety demands and equipment malfunctions.
• Be able to operate construction equipment.

• Be willing to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Gather the tools needed for the day.
• Deliver water to rollers and plate compactors.
• Shovel and rake asphalt.
• Use shovels, rakes, brooms, and other hand tools.
• Direct traffic as needed.
• Assist the operator as needed.
• Assist with minor equipment maintenance and clean equipment.
• Dump trucks as needed.
