Requirements

  • Master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization and four years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree in appropriate areas of specialization and six years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to interpret University policies and remain up-to-date on policy.
  • Ability to interpret up-to-date university policies and regulations as they relate to the program.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships and compliance of co-curricular experiential programming external to the Heavener School of Business.
  • Provide resources and support to business-related student organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with UF regulations, policies, and procedures for student organizations.
  • Serve as an administrative liaison with the Department of Student Activities and Involvement.
  • Develop and maintain processes for communication with student organization leaders and resources.
  • Engage with external departments, colleagues, and partners to enhance undergraduate student experiential learning.
  • Develop learning outcomes for student involvement/engagement outside the Heavener School of Business.
  • Collaborate with student leaders to ensure organizational activities are included in Gator Ready and competency development efforts.
  • Provide crisis intervention and manage risk.
  • Maintain data and records of participants, leaders, and outcomes of student organizations.
  • Prepare, manage, and track budgets related to these responsibilities.
  • Prepare reports on students and activities as required.
  • Design, develop, and oversee a high-impact experiential program within the Heavener School of Business Experiential Learning Department.
  • Plan and direct participant and leadership recruitment efforts for the program.
  • Ensure compliance with UF regulations, policies, and procedures for student development and engagement.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership coaching to program participants.
  • Coordinate and manage the logistical operations of the program.
  • Formulate and administer program policies.
  • Innovate and advance the program to be recognized as a high-impact program, including branding efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date on benchmark research on similar programs at other business schools.
  • Develop learning outcomes for the program to align with Heavener competencies.
  • Create and execute a plan to communicate and engage with alumni.
  • Maintain data and records of participants, leaders, and outcomes of the program.
  • Manage the department-sponsored student organization, Business College Council (BCC).
  • Design, develop, and oversee the curriculum for BCC engagement.
  • Assist BCC with planning and practice of recruitment/enrollment activities and events.
  • Prepare, manage, and track a program budget for BCC.
  • Provide leadership and fiscal training for BCC student leaders.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership coaching to the BCC executive board.
  • Serve as a liaison with HSB support staff for student leader coordination and management of space reservations.
  • Attend appropriate BCC programming to provide leadership, guidance, and counsel.
  • Serve as the administrative liaison for BCC.
  • Teach one or more Warrington Welcome (GEB 2015) sections annually.
  • Assist with Experiential Learning or Heavener School of Business programs.
  • Participate in and support various events for undergraduate business students.
  • Act as a faculty advisor to undergraduate business student organizations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of the Heavener School of Business, Executive Director of Experiential Learning department, or direct supervisor.
