About The Position

Cannonball Recruiting is seeking skilled ASME Welder/Fabricators for an Industrial Service and Manufacturing facility. This role involves welding and fabricating various tanks and components to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Code standards. The position is on the 2nd shift, from 2pm to 12am, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Friday overtime available. The pay rate is $25-30 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous experience working under ASME codes and standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Ability to follow written instructions in English in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to work at heights up to 16 ft.
• Ability to periodically work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate various tanks and components to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Code standards.
• Perform welding using FCAW / GMAW, SAW, SMAW.
• Obtain company required certification for welding within 60 days of hire.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Safely operate equipment including overhead cranes.
• Use electric grinding equipment.
• Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager.
