About The Position
Cannonball Recruiting is seeking skilled ASME Welder/Fabricators for an Industrial Service and Manufacturing facility. This role involves welding and fabricating various tanks and components to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Code standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience working under ASME codes and standards.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Ability to follow written instructions in English in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to work at heights up to 16 ft.
- Ability to periodically work in confined spaces.
Responsibilities
- Weld and fabricate various tanks and components to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Code standards.
- Perform welding using FCAW / GMAW, SAW, SMAW.
- Obtain company required certification for welding within 60 days of hire.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
- Safely operate equipment including overhead cranes.
- Use electric grinding equipment.
- Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager.
