About The Position

This position provides direct care coverage, responding to individual issues, between 11:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. on scheduled nights/mornings. The role requires knowledge of emergency procedures and basic emergency facts regarding all individuals at the location. If Med Certified, the employee will dispense medications as prescribed. Additional duties may be assigned by the Program Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Valid MA license
• Availability of vehicle
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies, or family members.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care coverage, responding to individual issues, between 11:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. on scheduled nights/mornings and as required by Program Manager.
• Responsible for calling or coming in shortly before 11:00 p.m. for an update of program status.
• Know emergency procedures and basic emergency facts regarding all individuals living at the location where coverage is provided.
• If Med Certified, dispense medications as prescribed.
• Additional duties as assigned by Program Manager as needed.
