About The Position

BridgeVoice Interpreters is seeking a qualified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter for an onsite legal interview in Austin, Texas. This is a short-term contract opportunity for a professional interpreter with experience in legal interpreting. The assignment is for 2 hours and offers compensation of $120.00 per hour. This role is for an Independent Contractor (1099) within the Legal Services industry.

Requirements

• Current RID certification or Texas BEI Advanced, Master, or Court certification required.
• Ability to interpret accurately and maintain confidentiality during legal proceedings.
• Excellent receptive and expressive ASL and English communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Reliable transportation to the assignment location in Austin, TX.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Previous legal interpreting experience preferred.

Responsibilities
