Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Previous cleaning related experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine tasks in cleaning and servicing of rooms and bathrooms under the supervision of an inspector.
  • Enters and prepares the room for cleaning.
  • Cleans rooms in accordance with company specific minutes per room standard
  • Cleans guest rooms, including guest bathrooms and kitchen area, if applicable, in accordance with company, including but not limited to: making beds; emptying trash receptacles; hanging shower curtains; sweeping, mopping, and cleaning floors; and dusting furniture
  • Replenishes supplies such as glasses, writing and guest directories, bathroom supplies, and linens.
  • Deep cleans areas as directed by supervisor, including but not limited to: washing walls, windows, door panels, and sills
  • Uses all chemicals appropriately.
  • Turns in all lost and found items as required
  • Cleans the closet.
  • Vacuums the carpet.
  • Checks and secures the room.
  • Attends staff meetings.
  • Reports any maintenance issues as they occur to the maintenance department and the head of department or shift manager.
  • Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the head of department or shift manager.
  • Understands that the demands of the business sometimes make it necessary to move employees from their accustomed shift to other shifts.
  • Understands that the demands of business sometimes make it necessary for employees to take on additional duties and responsibilities established by management at any time.
  • Completes all other tasks as assigned by the manager.
