Aseptic- Production Operator II

About The Position

This position is responsible for daily operations of the production floor, ensuring the shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with applicable legal and food safety requirements. The role includes operating production lines, inspecting products, completing reports, maintaining supplies and housekeeping, and troubleshooting minor production issues. The schedule requires 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or as dictated by production demand. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without prior notice.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or a schedule dictated by production demand.
Minimum qualifications list zero years of experience in the field or a similar manufacturing environment, in the position, and managing people/projects; experience may include a combination of work experience and education.

Responsibilities

Perform daily activities on production lines and ensure products meet Niagara’s safety, quality, and throughput standards.
Complete applicable quality and production reports accurately each hour.
Physically and visually inspect products to prevent non-conforming goods.
Report quality defects to appropriate team members and shift leadership.
Follow company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
Follow Niagara’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards.
Maintain general housekeeping in production and other areas assigned by plant leadership.
Maintain the appropriate level of raw materials to minimize production-line downtime.
Work in assigned production areas, troubleshoot minor production-line issues, and perform relief duties when required.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
