About The Position

Printfresh is seeking a highly experienced Asana consultant to restructure and optimize its product development and production workflows. The current Asana system has become overly task-heavy and calendar-driven, hindering its use as an operational tool. The goal is to rebuild the system into a clear, scalable framework that enhances visibility, accountability, and execution across Design, Product Development, and Production timelines. The consultant will audit the existing setup, restructure it into a stage-based pipeline (Concept → Design → Development → Sampling → Finalization), separate workflows for Sleep vs. Apparel, establish clear ownership, simplify task structures, build leadership dashboards, create templates for seasonal cycles, and train the team on the new system.

Requirements

  • Deep experience with Asana (advanced level required).
  • Strong understanding of product development workflows (fashion, retail, or consumer goods preferred).
  • Experience building systems for cross-functional teams (design, PD, production, merchandising).
  • Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive systems.
  • Comfortable pushing back and recommending better ways of working.
  • Must include examples of Asana systems built or restructured in the product/fashion space.
  • Must include a brief description of your approach to workflow design.
  • Must include relevant experience with product-based businesses.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DTC brands.
  • Experience with seasonal product cycles.
  • In-person working sessions may be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Audit current Asana setup for Design, Product Development, and Production workflows.
  • Restructure Asana into a clean, stage-based pipeline (Concept → Design → Development → Sampling → Finalization).
  • Separate and streamline workflows for Sleep vs. Apparel.
  • Establish clear ownership and accountability within projects.
  • Simplify task structures to reduce clutter and improve usability.
  • Build dashboard views for leadership visibility (status, blockers, timelines).
  • Create templates for repeatable seasonal product cycles.
  • Train the team on how to use the restructured Asana system effectively.
