Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is seeking an Arts Education Teacher Pipeline Support to serve as a strategic project coordinator. This role is crucial for the launch and execution of a multi-year initiative aimed at increasing the number of certified arts educators in alignment with the district’s Arts Education Plan 2.0. The Department of Arts Education (DAE) integrates rigorous arts instruction to drive student engagement, academic achievement, and postsecondary readiness. The goal is to establish the arts as a universal instructional lever that empowers every CPS student to become a critical thinker, problem-solver, and high-performing citizen. This grant-funded role will build data infrastructure, execute gap analyses, and manage recruitment logistics to ensure certified educators are deployed to underserved communities. The position will collaborate with the DAE, CPS Talent Office, local and state organizations, and higher education institutions to recruit, certify, and retain high-quality arts educators in music, dance, theatre, visual arts, and media arts. This role is ideal for someone with experience in arts education, teacher certification policy, creative workforce development, and human capital strategy.
