About The Position

Cross Country Education is hiring a Special Education Teacher in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, to support students in an Autistic Support classroom. The teacher will provide specialized instruction and individualized support, develop learning activities aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and needs, and create a structured classroom environment that promotes engagement, independence, academic growth, and behavioral growth. The role involves collaborating with school staff, families, and related service providers to support student progress and consistent educational strategies. The position offers a consistent school schedule of 35 hours per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification with a Special Education endorsement.
