About The Position

The Arts Education Partnerships Manager is the lead coordinator for 2 flagship arts education programs at Abrons Arts Center: the Promoting the Arts Throughout Henry Street (PATHS) program, which produces arts education classes for Henry Street Settlement programs; and StudioLab, which produces arts education classes in New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE) schools. The Arts Education Partnerships Manager manages our PATHS and StudioLab portfolios by supporting teaching artist faculty in the successful administration of their courses and by serving as the lead liaison between Abrons, faculty, and partners to ensure high quality service delivery. The Arts Education Partnerships Manager reports to the Director of Arts Education and Community Engagement. Henry Street Settlement opens doors of opportunity to enrich lives and expand human progress for Lower East Side residents and other New Yorkers through social services, arts, and health care programs. Building on its 130+year legacy of innovation and effective programming, Henry Street offers more than 50 programs and is one of New York City’s largest social service agencies. Abrons Arts Center is the home for artistic expression at Henry Street Settlement. It was founded in 1975 as the Arts for Living Center, adjacent to the historic Neighborhood Playhouse--an anchor of arts on the Lower East Side since 1915.
