About The Position
Our Hair Artists at PENZONE Salons + Spas will be able to advance through the training program at their own pace, mastering specific skills while working behind the chair at BASE ONE, our training concept salon + spa. Upon completion of the training program, artists will get their chair at a PENZONE Salons + Spas location. This program is new + innovative, allowing artists to get behind the chair, doing what they love, equipped with the knowledge + skillset necessary for success in the industry. Filling final spots for 2026 + looking ahead to 2027!
Requirements
- Full-time flexible schedule
- Valid Ohio Cosmetology License or work permit
- Reliable transportation to all PENZONE Salon + Spa locations
Nice To Haves
- All levels of experience are welcome
- Previous salon experience is welcomed, but not required
Responsibilities
- Work behind the chair at PENZONE x BASE ONE on guests paying base prices for services.
- Complete learning modules with a combination of hands-on and online training.
- Advance through training modules based on performance.
- Potentially serve as an apprentice with a mentor in PENZONE Salon + Spa locations if additional support is needed.
- Advance through four levels (Stylist, Designer, Director + Senior Director) after completion of the program.
