This position is for the 2026-2027 school year and involves planning and implementing a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, diverse backgrounds, and abilities of students. The role includes assisting in establishing department or grade-level curriculum objectives, creating a conducive classroom environment, guiding the learning process, employing appropriate instructional methods, assessing student accomplishments, diagnosing learning strengths and weaknesses, and counseling with colleagues, students, and parents. The position also requires assisting administration in implementing policies, planning assignments for support personnel, using technology, maintaining records, performing Medicaid administrative claims reimbursable activities, adhering to the Code of Ethics, supporting school improvement initiatives, recognizing and acting on indicators of student distress or abuse, and establishing an appropriate testing environment.
