About The Position

As a K-12 Art Teacher, you will foster curiosity, confidence, and a love for art and learning in students during a key stage of their development. You will design dynamic lessons, build strong relationships, and create a supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• Experience teaching elementary grades.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Excellent communication and technology skills.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card by the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Teacher certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lesson plans.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
• Assess student progress and tailor instruction to meet diverse needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and school culture.
• Participate in school events and activities.
• Complete additional duties in collaboration with the team to deliver an exceptional student experience.
• Maintain accurate, complete, legible, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
• Take necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
