About The Position

Grounded in a talent-centric mindset, Maker Lab is a marketing agency designed to build decentralised technology-led agency teams, rooted in collaboration with clients from the ground up. Maker Lab’s cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary specialists are embedded into client teams across digital marketing competencies — from measurement & analytics to content production. We're looking for a culturally tuned Art Director to elevate social-first campaigns for a leading QSR brand. This role blends insight-led thinking and hands-on execution, turning briefs into engaging ideas shaped by culture, trends, and audience behaviour across platforms.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in an Art Director, Designer, or Social Creative role.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating integrated campaign thinking, social-first creativity and high-quality visual execution.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, digital culture and audience behaviour.
  • Able to move seamlessly between strategic thinking, creative ideation and hands-on execution.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to bring ideas to life across multiple formats and touchpoints.
  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and navigating stakeholder feedback.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within agency, social, integrated marketing or in-house creative environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to campaign ideation and support the development of social-first creative concepts across always-on content, campaigns, and activations.
  • Translate ideas into strong visual directions, key visuals, layouts, and content assets across digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, social strategists, and cross-functional teams to develop integrated creative solutions.
  • Create and adapt visual assets for social, digital, CRM, and occasional offline touchpoints.
  • Stay tuned into social trends, internet culture, and platform behaviours to inspire relevant creative work.
  • Ensure creative outputs are aligned to brand guidelines while supporting the evolution of brand expression.
  • Support the execution of campaigns from concept through to delivery, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to interpret briefs and refine creative outputs based on feedback.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and craft quality.
  • Support internal reviews and quality checks to ensure all deliverables meet creative standards.
