About The Position

UW Medicine Primary Care, in conjunction with the Department of Family Medicine and the Division of General Internal Medicine, is seeking two ARNPs for Flex APP positions at its Belltown and Shoreline Clinics. The Flex APP provides some patient care and clinical support for other providers, including inbox management. The position is open to eligible candidates and is especially well suited to new-career ARNPs. The successful candidate will be appointed as a Teaching Associate through the UW School of Medicine. In addition to providing primary care, the role includes some clinical teaching responsibilities. Teaching Associate appointments are annual and align with a 12-month service period from July 1 through June 30; appointees may be reappointed for subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over the 12-month period, making the equivalent of one month available for paid time off. The stated base salary is $10,848 per month ($130,172 per annum), commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Additional compensation may include a minimum guaranteed first-year incentive through UW Physicians based on production and quality metrics. The incentive is based on achieving up to the 45th percentile of production during the period of record; higher productivity may result in a higher earned incentive. UW Medicine offers competitive compensation, outstanding benefits, and a commitment to work-life balance. Compensation provided by the University is used for University benefit determinations and calculations; UW Physicians compensation may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.
