Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on UC-35 Cessna Citation aircraft. The level of mechanic employment is based on years of specific UC-35 Cessna Citation hands-on A&P mechanic experience. This role is responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying aircraft systems to ensure continued airworthiness. Tasks are performed on avionics & electrical systems, engines, flight controls, and airframe components. Repairs are performed using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. The mechanic must comply with aircraft records procedures, ensure aircraft discrepancies are properly recorded, and understand computerized maintenance software. Responsibilities also include performing aircraft recovery missions and engine run or taxi operations, requiring certification within 12 months of employment. The mechanic reads and interprets manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine repair or replacement methods for malfunctioning or damaged components. Other qualified duties as assigned.
