About The Position

Cascadia Global Security is hiring an Armed Security professional in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. The role is available full-time or part-time and lists a Monday–Friday shift from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The posting lists pay as $27.50 per hour in the position details and $25.50 per hour in the Pay and Benefits section. Daily pay options are available.

The position provides security for a school campus. Duties include access control, campus patrol and supervision, deterring theft and vandalism, enforcing campus rules, safeguarding school grounds, and maintaining a safe, professional environment. Patrols may be conducted on foot or in a company-marked vehicle for candidates with an exemplary driving history.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfort working with children and teenagers.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and emergencies.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Armed Security License required.
• At least 1 year of armed security experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Provide body armor, including a tactical outer carrier or concealed inner carrier and 3a+ soft armor.
• Provide a duty belt with MOLLE attachments, OC spray, handcuffs, and a baton.
• Provide a personal duty weapon and at least two spare magazines.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Driver's License preferred.
• CPR training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control.
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, associates, or public safety.
• Conduct patrols in a company-marked vehicle when assigned; vehicle patrol eligibility requires an exemplary driving history free of tickets, accidents, or marks against the driver's license.
• Conduct foot patrols to maintain visibility and observe unusual activity at client facilities.
• Deter theft and vandalism.
• Help ensure a safe and professional work environment for the client, associates, and facility personnel.
• Enforce campus rules and regulations.
• Safeguard school grounds from suspicious people and activity.
• Patrol and supervise the school campus.
• Keep daily administrative documentation concise and complete.
• Maintain uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform.
• Perform other related duties as required.
