About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Patrol Driver in Weslaco, Texas, to serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. The role involves armed vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees. The position pays $14.00 per hour and requires an armed guard card or license, a valid driver’s license, and Texas Level III Armed Certification.

Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess Texas Level III Armed Certification.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Meet licensing requirements under applicable state and local laws; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, using assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and company policies.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the grocery retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter.
Monitor and report suspicious activity, theft-related concerns, access issues, and other security matters through appropriate channels.
Assist with access control, delivery activity, and customer or employee concerns while maintaining a professional presence.
