About The Position

As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Fort Worth, Texas, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and responding professionally to site needs. You will provide customer service and clear communication while contributing to a team culture built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation. This is a full-time position paying $30.47 per hour. The listed schedule includes overnight shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Texas Level III Armed Certification.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor screening in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established post orders and applicable use-of-force guidelines.
Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
Maintain assigned equipment in accordance with company and site procedures.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
