About The Position

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Boston. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in various industries, including Government. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and respond professionally to situations requiring attention. A concealed carry weapons permit is required for this armed post. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s values.

Requirements

  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to the public, visitors, and personnel at a government transportation location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned transportation facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and designated contacts.
