About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location in Fort Worth, Texas. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. The role involves customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with site personnel. The position is scheduled for Tuesday from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at a rate of $27.32 per hour. Officers may use Allied Universal's Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Texas Level III Armed Certification.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual activity or potential concerns.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorizations, and maintain awareness of personnel and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation for patrol observations, incidents, access-related activities, and equipment status.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
