About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a driving post in a mission-focused environment. The officer will provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. The role requires maintaining an armed presence and conducting routine patrols to help deter incidents and identify security concerns.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
An armed guard card or license.
An active DoD Secret Clearance.
A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Successful completion of a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
Any required licensing under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols.
Maintain an armed presence in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site post orders, and Allied Universal policies.
Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, document observations and incidents, and complete reports accurately and promptly.
