About The Position
KRE Security LLC is hiring Armed Security Officers for flexible assignments throughout Perry County PA. This role is ideal for individuals seeking extra income, part-time work, additional security shifts, or an opportunity that could lead to a long-term position. Officers choose assignments that fit their availability, with options for day, evening, and weekend shifts at various commercial and other security locations. The position requires maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment by monitoring areas, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and completing documentation.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must complete required in person orientation before assignment
- Must meet all applicable Pennsylvania requirements to work as an armed security officer
- Must possess and maintain any required firearms qualifications and certifications for the assignment
- Candidates must be legally qualified to perform armed security duties in Pennsylvania and must meet all applicable requirements for the position and specific assignment.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, and designated post locations
- Conduct security patrols as required by the assignment
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond appropriately to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
- Complete daily activity reports and required documentation
- Follow site policies, procedures, and post orders
- Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, employees, and other personnel
- Identify and report unusual or suspicious activity
- Safely and professionally perform all duties associated with an armed security assignment
