About The Position
KRE Security LLC is hiring Armed Security Officers for flexible assignments throughout Perry County PA. This role is ideal for individuals seeking extra income, part-time work, additional security shifts, or an opportunity that could lead to a long-term position. Officers will help maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment at their assigned location, choosing assignments that fit their availability. Assignments include armed security in Perry County, commercial and other security locations, with day, evening, and weekend shifts available, as well as additional hours based on availability and operational needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable attendance when accepting assignments
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must complete required in person orientation before assignment
- Must meet all applicable Pennsylvania requirements to work as an armed security officer
- Must possess and maintain any required firearms qualifications and certifications for the assignment
- Candidates must be legally qualified to perform armed security duties in Pennsylvania and must meet all applicable requirements for the position and specific assignment.

- Prior security, military, law enforcement, or related experience preferred
- Additional qualifications, firearms requirements, training, or certifications may apply depending on the assignment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, and designated post locations
- Conduct security patrols as required by the assignment
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond appropriately to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
- Complete daily activity reports and required documentation
- Follow site policies, procedures, and post orders
- Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, employees, and other personnel
- Identify and report unusual or suspicious activity
- Safely and professionally perform all duties associated with an armed security assignment
