As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc. Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers are responsible for access control, deterring theft, and hourly patrols.

Requirements

Valid BSIS Guard Card & BSIS Firearm Permit (required).
Current with BSIS Compliance i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate
32-hour continuing education certificates
Experience working graveyard shifts.
Tactical vest, handcuffs, and a less-than-lethal device such as a Baton or OC spray.
Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.
