About The Position

City Security Services is hiring Transit Security Officers to support safe and secure operations throughout various transportation facilities. This position is ideal for experienced security professionals who are comfortable working in public-facing environments, maintaining situational awareness, responding to emergencies, and following detailed post orders.

Requirements

21 years of age or older.
Active Level 3 security certification and guard license in hand.
Current baton and OC certifications.
Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record for the past three years.
Ability to pass the required physical readiness assessment.
Ability to complete 24 hours of required training.
Basic proficiency with computers and technical applications.
Bachelor's degree and demonstrated qualifications for the position.
Associate degree in criminal justice/security and two years of security experience.
Three years of combined military, law enforcement, or corrections experience.
Five years of verifiable commercial security experience.

Responsibilities

Provide security coverage at assigned transit facilities.
Conduct foot and mobile patrols.
Monitor facility activity and report suspicious or unauthorized behavior.
Enforce applicable facility rules and procedures.
Respond to alarms, emergencies, criminal activity, and security incidents.
Assist individuals experiencing illness or injury.
Provide basic first aid when appropriate.
Request police, fire, EMS, or other emergency assistance when necessary.
Identify safety hazards, spills, damaged equipment, and maintenance concerns.
Process visitors and control authorized access.
Maintain accurate incident documentation.
Follow established General Orders, Post Orders, facility plans, and supervisor direction.
