Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a visible armed presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, document observations, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
Assist with access control, closing procedures, and response to alarms, medical events, and/or other location-specific needs in accordance with post orders.
