About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking an Armed Tactical Security Officer. This role requires an individual with a keen sense of observation, the ability to anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Physical ability is essential as the role involves patrolling a hospital environment for the entire shift. The position offers a competitive hourly wage, a set schedule with evening and overnight shifts including weekends, and opportunities for career growth within GardaWorld.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• 21 years old or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• ACT 235 Lethal Weapons Training Certification
• Currently have or be able to attain all necessary immunizations
• Provide personally owned duty weapon (9mm caliber handgun)
• Complete certification to carry an approved less-lethal alternative (OCAT-Path Certification - OC Spray)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice To Haves

• First aid/CPR certification
• IAHSS Basic Course

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
