Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or deliveries, and support authorized access for personnel, contractors, and vehicles entering the location.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, handling security-related communications with professionalism, and assisting with incident response and post orders as directed.
