About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and responding professionally to security concerns while providing customer service and clear communication to support a welcoming environment. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at a pay rate of $46.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A valid firearms permit is preferred.
An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with company and site reporting requirements.
