About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Boston MA. Tuesday - Thursday 3 PM - 11 PM and Saturday 11 PM - 7 AM. Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training. Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience. As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, roadways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and/or document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site procedures and reporting requirements.
Support traffic and crowd management during routine operations, public activity, and/or emergency situations while maintaining professional communication with site personnel, first responders, and the public.
