Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support staff and first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and help to report security-related concerns involving visitors, vendors, and/or staff.
  • Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal guidelines, maintaining readiness to respond to high-priority situations while using sound judgment and professionalism.
