You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and clear communication to passengers and staff. This armed role requires an Armed Guard Card or License and a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. Bring integrity, reliability, and a teamwork-focused approach to a caring, innovative organization.

Requirements

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess a valid law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, entrances, adjacent facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe passenger activity, and report suspicious behavior, prohibited items, infrastructure concerns, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders.
