About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an on-call Armed Security Officer for a concierge post in New Orleans, Louisiana. The role emphasizes customer service and building connections with people in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The schedule is flexible and may be 1st/2nd or 2nd/3rd shift. Candidates must own a weapon and have a state license if required. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
